Price per pound value...Gotoh's, either 3 on a tree or individual. As good a Waverly at 1/4 the price...IMHO.

I was tempted to say Rodgers, they are definitely the best if you've got $900 to spare!

I usually use Waverly , I got 10 sets, a mixture of 3 on a plate and separates, from the liquidator of a luthier in the UK who was going out of business, so they only cost me Gotoh money!

Tamarkin Company has a great supply of grovers. I use the 18 to 1's Waverlys are great but too much money unless you are making high end instruments

I use the "National" tuners supplied by Resophonic Outfitters. I guess one day I'll build a guitar that's expensive enough to justify using Waverleys.
